The 1912 design of the watch that would later be known as the "Baignoire" showcased Cartier's exceptional skill in creating unique watch styles. An elegant oval shape, formed in a single line, the "Baignoire" watch embodies the essence of Cartier's time less and chic design. Baignoire de Cartier watch, small model, size 17, quartz movement. 18K yellow gold (750/1000) case. 18K yellow gold (750/1000) beaded crown with a dazzling sapphire cabochon. 18K yellow gold (750/1000) rigid bracelet. Silvered dial, striking blued-steel sword-shaped hands, and a sapphire crystal. Length: 31.4 mm, width: 23.1 mm, thickness: 6.9 mm. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters/100 feet).
