Although the Ingenieur was first launch ed in 1955 by IWC, it is the iconic designer Gérald Genta who has become most closely associated with this watch family. His vision of a stainless steel luxury sports watch with an integrated bracelet, embodied in the Ingenieur SL, Reference 1832, captured the hea rts of watch enthusiasts during the 1970s. With its bold aesthetic elements, expert craftsmanship, and advanced technology, the Inge nieur Automatic 40 pays homage to Genta's signature design. The 40-millimeter case, bezel, and integrated H-link bracelet are all me ticulously finished with polished and satin-finished surfaces, ensuring a truly luxurious look and feel. The case and bracelet have been carefully optimized for ergonomic comfort, even for slimmer wrists.
